The "TOKYO PLAY!" project, which aims to let people enjoy Tokyo's "now" under the theme of "Tokyo's 24th ward," has begun at the TOKYO Kaihoku district on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. It will run until September 23rd.
The venue featured a wide selection of seasonal items, mainly from the fashion brand "FIG&VIPER," directed by Arisa Ueno, who is also active as a model. You can experience Tokyo's real, "now" mixed culture fashion.
The "TOKYO CREATERS" T-shirts, created in collaboration with creators from various fields, are priced at 5,000 yen each. The four artists featured in the collection are the flower art unit "Plantica," known for their collaborations with fashion brands and store designs; art director Koji Shionai, who directs rock bands and corporate advertising; illustrator Hitoshi Kuroki, whose diverse work includes advertising and CD jacket illustrations; and graphic designer Rimo from mocrock, popular in a wide range of fields including music, video, and fashion. The collection also features a variety of silicone accessories by New York influencer Zoe Schlacter. Colorful silicone items, such as chain bags (8,500 to 12,000 yen), TOKYO necklaces (10,000 yen), and bracelets (5,000 yen), will add a touch of glamour to any outfit. Also noteworthy are the various one-of-a-kind art pieces (20,000 yen). In addition to the bicycles on display in the store, the store also features a wide variety of Nike sneakers for sale. A sales representative commented, "All of the items sold at TOKYO PLAY! are unique in that they go well with sports items. We hope you will enjoy sporty fashion." Additionally, all of the kitschy items available in the store are reasonably priced, so you can easily embrace the world of "today's" Tokyo.
On the final day of the event, September 23rd, director Ueno will visit the store to hold a talk and DJ event. Anticipation is building to see what kind of material this it girl, who continues to spread the charm of Tokyo to overseas markets, will show us.
