Beyoncé and JAY-Z for the Tiffany & Co. fall 2021 ABOUT LOVE campaign, shot by Mason Poole.Tiffany has released its "ABOUT LOVE" campaign film, starring music power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
The campaign film, directed by renowned film director Emmanuel Adjei, features a musical performance of the classic song "Moon River." Beyoncé re-creates this classic song, widely known as the theme song for the 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffany's," while Jay-Z films the performance on a Super 8 camera.
In the campaign film, Beyoncé appears wearing a selection of exceptional diamond jewelry, including the Tiffany Diamond. One of the most significant gemstones discovered in the 19th century, the Tiffany Diamond symbolizes the brand's rich heritage. The film also features iconic pieces from the brand, including Jean Schlumberger and the Tiffany T Collection. Of particular note are the cufflinks worn by Jay-Z. These unique cufflinks are a one-of-a-kind creation, crafted by Tiffany artisans from Jean Schlumberger's classic "Bird on a Rock" brooch. Jean Schlumberger was known as a favorite jewelry designer of the upper class in the 1960s and 1970s. It's why Jean Schlumberger's instantly recognizable, unique designs have been passed down to one of the greatest creative minds of our time.
The campaign film, a blend of nostalgic flashbacks and cinematic dreamscapes, was shot at Olm House, a Los Angeles estate. Designed by architect Zoltan Pali, the 18,800-square-foot, three-story mansion towers over the hills above the upscale Bel-Air neighborhood. The Carters personally chose the home as the backdrop for the "About Love" campaign.
The result of close collaboration and shared vision between the Carters and Tiffany, the film's pared-back, natural feel captures the couple's intimate moments, capturing their indescribable chemistry. The campaign tells a love story of yearning, reunion and a bond that transcends time and space.
The "About Love" campaign was released globally in print on September 2nd, followed by a film on tiffany.com on September 13th and a global media release on September 15th. A film by renowned creative director Dikayl Rimmasch and director Derek Milton will also be released later this year. The About Love film team also includes wardrobe stylists June Ambrose and Marni Senofonte, hair stylists Jawara Wauchope and Nakia Rachon, and makeup artist Sir John Barnett.
