The curtain design features chrysanthemum flowers and a rising sun against a background that gradients from classic Tiffany Blue to a deep blue symbolizing a new era. This color scheme celebrates the new beginnings of the succession while also conveying the brand's positive message of pioneering the future. Tiffany's spirit of tradition and innovation and the theme of this succession, "Communicating Japanese traditions and heritage to the world," resonate beautifully and celebrate the dawn of a new era.

Tiffany and Japan have had a long-standing bond. Since the late 19th century, Japanese craftsmanship, materials, and aesthetics have deeply inspired Tiffany's creations, resulting in numerous masterpieces. In the same era, the Kabukiza Theater was founded in 1889, and Ginza has a history of developing as a center of culture and traditional performing arts. Tiffany's involvement in creating the celebratory curtain for the succession performance of Otowaya, a company with a history of over 300 years, is a symbol of the glorious traditions and innovation of both companies, further deepening the ties between Tiffany and Japan.

Tiffany & Co. Ginza, scheduled to open in Ginza 6-Chome on July 11, 2025, will feature a façade designed by leading Japanese architect Jun Aoki, with interior design by master of contemporary architecture Peter Marino. Bringing together craft, art, and heritage, it will be the largest flagship store in Asia and truly symbolize a new era.

In homage to the traditional performing art of Kabuki, which is deeply rooted in the special place of Ginza, and to the preservation of its culture, the Kabukiza Theatre will be decorated with a beautiful celebratory curtain dyed in Tiffany blue, marking the prologue to the birth of "Tiffany Ginza," 53 years after Kabuki first arrived in Japan in 1972.
