Charles Anastas opens pop-up shop at Shinjuku Isetan to celebrate its 10th anniversary

Sep 18, 2014

Charles Anastase, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2014, is holding a special event to celebrate the milestone. The event will take place at Center Park The Stage #3 on the third floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. From September 17th to 23rd, the event will feature limited-edition items from the brand's archives, one-of-a-kind items, and miscellaneous goods featuring "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" illustrations created by the designer specifically for the event. The store will be decorated with "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" letters made of styrofoam, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the venue. Among the highlights will be archive wear and one-of-a-kind dresses, available exclusively at Isetan Mitsukoshi. Items not available elsewhere include two coat designs (¥103,000 and ¥108,000), a dress (¥68,000), and a skirt (¥29,000). Additionally, Shinjuku store exclusive items include a tote bag (46,000 yen) and pouches (two types, priced at 26,000 yen and 24,000 yen).

A wide variety of this season's items will also be on display. Both the 2014 Pre-Fall collection, a masculine-inspired collection proposing combinations such as "flared skirts x simple tops" and "classic coats x beautifully silhouetted trousers," and the 14-15 AW collection, an easy-to-wear collection incorporating jersey material, are a lineup that exudes femininity within the sophistication that is characteristic of the brand.
