Isetan Shinjuku's "Autumn Hokkaido Exhibition" will be held from September 3rd to 8th in the event hall on the 6th floor of the main building. A highlight of this year's event is the large selection of menu items available at the venue's "Bar" eat-in space. Enjoy top-notch dishes, both tasty and nutritious, at a seated table, including Farm Restaurant Myu's "Suffolk Lamb T-Bone Steak & Shibetsu Grilled Vegetables" (4,445 yen), which features Suffolk lamb raised on Hokkaido hay and grains, served with organic vegetables from Shibetsu, Hokkaido; Buono Polpo's "Uni Plate" (3,241 yen), featuring dishes that pair perfectly with Hokkaido sea urchin, such as squid somen and binchos; and Curry Bar Minamiya's "Soup Curry" (1,000 yen), packed with the delicious flavors of nature.

Other dishes on offer include "Extra Large Scallops Sautéed in Butter" (500 yen), "Onuma Beer Pilsner" (464 yen), "Raclette" (600 yen), "Lamb Chop" (2,593 yen), "Hairy Crab and Potato Kakiage" (500 yen), "Ezo Venison Sausage" (800 yen), and "Hokkaido Red and White Wine" (557 yen).

If you think you'll have a hard time deciding what to eat with the extensive menu, it's a good idea to do some research on the website beforehand.

For this event, Hokkaido-based food writer Yuki Konishi has sampled the products and provided her comments, which are also very helpful.

For example, reading the comments on Tatsumin's "Sushi Nigiri Set" (2,593 yen with miso soup) reveals that in Hokkaido, it is customary to enjoy sashimi by dissolving the miso of squid innards or botan shrimp heads in soy sauce to make liver soy sauce, and that this is a menu item that allows you to fully enjoy the restaurant's unique way of eating.

Also, Shirakaba Sanso's "Pure White & Melted Cheese Grilled Ramen" (1,297 yen) is topped with 200g of fresh pure white, and when you read the description that the restaurant's original rich soup blends with the cheese to create an exquisite flavor, you'll want to rush to the restaurant right away.

It's a comprehensive selection with many interesting products.
