Herno collaborates with Pierre Louis Massiat, and a Sukajan jacket is also available!

Feb 3, 2016

Herno unveiled its men's 2016-17 Autumn/Winter capsule collection in collaboration with Pierre Louis Mascia at Pitti Immagine Uomo 89 in January. This is Herno's first collaboration with a designer since its 2009 collaboration with Neil Barrette on down jackets.

These collections were created after CEO Claudio Marezzi approached Pierre Louis Mascia, who produces textiles with unique graphics under license from Achille Pinto of Como, Italy, to create the linings of coats, a tradition that dates back to 1948 when Herno was founded.

The collection includes water-repellent radiator coats, cashmere coats, jackets with removable liners, padded shirt jackets and half coats, and a rare vintage sukajan jacket, all reversible with Mascia prints. Featuring graphic patterns such as camouflage, check collage, hand-woven photo prints, and mandalas, along with technology based on Herno's Classico tradition, this is a unique lineup even for Herno, which has been developing new customer segments over the past few seasons.

This time, 15 men's styles were unveiled at Pitti Uomo. The women's line is scheduled to be unveiled at Milan Fashion Week in February.
