Herno opens two new stores, including limited edition color coats from its popular outerwear series

Jun 7, 2015

HERNO will open its first men's-only store in Japan on September 2nd on the third floor of Hankyu Men's Osaka. In addition, the HERNO Daimaru Kyoto store will be reopened in early September as a concept store carrying both women's and men's collections. The brand also plans to open its first men's pop-up store at Hankyu Men's Tokyo from mid-August. Both the Hankyu Men's Osaka store and the Daimaru Kyoto store will use a "hanging" display based on the same concept as the Milan store. The leather straps on display represent "tradition," while the stainless steel hooks represent "modernity." Combining these with natural materials creates an interior that symbolizes the brand's identity. Limited-edition color items will also be released to commemorate the opening of the new store. Both Hankyu Men's stores will carry the popular "Laminar" down coat (top left photo/173,000 yen), an outerwear series that combines high levels of waterproofness and breathability, while Daimaru Kyoto will carry a wool and nylon combination coat (top right photo/205,000 yen) exclusively for women.
