A design exhibition by students from Theater Products Takeuchi will be held at Pass the Baton Kyoto Gion store.

Apr 23, 2016

"Interviewer's design project: Designs Born from Interviews," an exhibition by a class from the Kyoto University of Art and Design's Department of Scenography, led by THEATRE PRODUCTS designer Akira Takeuchi, will be held at the Pass the Baton Kyoto Gion store from April 27th to May 8th.

In this exhibition, students from Takeuchi's class, who are third-year students in the Department of Scenography, visit various locations and conduct interviews. They will then exhibit works that embody the ideas and thoughts that arise from this communication, based on Pass the Baton's concept of "NEW RECYCLE." Each student will present a new work using materials such as architectural waste from temples, scraps of Kyoto wire mesh, unused bras that did not fit, and alum no longer used at home.
