Descente Japan Co., Ltd. will open "DESCENTE BLANC Umeda," the 11th store of its "DESCENTE" brand, at Grand Front Osaka on September 1, 2021.
"DESCENTE BLANC" targets urban men and women who appreciate the true essence of things, proposing a comfortable lifestyle as conceived by a sports brand. It continues to open stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area and major regional cities. Since its launch in 2015, this will be the 11th store and the third in the Kansai region, following stores at Osaka Expo Park (LaLaport EXPOCITY) and Kyoto (Fujii Daimaru).
"Grand Front Osaka" is a commercial complex adjacent to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, the central gateway to Osaka, housing offices, a hotel, event spaces, and more. This is a place where people with diverse lifestyles and tastes come together, and we will deliver "DESCENTE"'s functional and comfortable products.
Products include "DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN," which combines the functionality of sportswear with refined design; "DESCENTE PAUSE," a collection that is functional yet comfortable for everyday wear; and a variety of lifestyle items such as shoes, bags, socks, and caps.
To commemorate the opening, "DESCENTE BLANC Umeda" will be offering a limited-time "MADE TO MEASURE" service, allowing customers to customize the iconic "MIZUSAWA DOWN" high-performance down jacket from "DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN" to their liking.
Customers can choose the size and color of the outer and lining fabrics, and the lining will also feature an Umeda-exclusive design inspired by a map of Osaka. Reservations began on August 20th on the "DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN" website.
