Lexus brings the installation that captivated the world to Aoyama. Experience the concept of "hospitality" inspired by "hydrogen"

May 14, 2016

From May 16th to June 1st, Lexus will be exhibiting a portion of "Lexus-An Encounter with Anticipation," which was exhibited at Milan Design Week 2016, at INTERSECT BY LEXUS-TOKYO in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

"Lexus-An Encounter with Anticipation" is an experiential installation that allows visitors to experience Lexus' unique, cutting-edge and innovative hospitality philosophy. It was created through a collaboration between the globally acclaimed, up-and-coming design duo Formafantasma and Milan-based, one-Michelin-starred chef Yoji Tokuyoshi. Inspired by hydrogen, the power source of the Lexus LF-FC concept car, which is a symbol of "Anticipation," the installation features a kinetic light installation inspired by hydrogen power and a unique taste experience created by Chef Yoji Tokuyoshi, offering a journey that foresees a future hydrogen-powered society.
