Japan's largest coffee festival will be held in Aoyama this weekend! Check out the "coffee accompaniments" like parfaits and puddings

TOKYO COFFEE FESTIVAL 2016 spring, Japan's largest coffee event, featuring approximately 60 coffee roasters and baristas from around the country, will be held on May 21st and 22nd at the Farmer's Market @ UNU in front of the United Nations University in Aoyama, Tokyo.

This is the third TOKYO COFFEE FESTIVAL, which was held twice last year and attracted approximately 20,000 visitors each time. In addition to regular cups of drip coffee and other coffees, the venue will also sell tasting tickets (5 tickets for 1,000 yen including tax), allowing you to easily enjoy small amounts of coffee from various stores. You can easily sample coffee from various stores in small cups.

Original sweets created in collaboration with patissiers garnering attention in the food scene will also be available. Yoyogi Hachiman bistro Path will be serving a limited-edition pudding, created after repeated trial runs following a visit to the egg farm Chicken Village, and Yoyogi Uehara patisserie Biennêtre will be serving a limited-edition parfait featuring a subtle bitterness and refreshing taste, made with Kawachi mandarin oranges from Omijima Island on the Shimanami Kaido. Kyoto's renowned Yoshida Bakery will also be selling its new "Croissant d'Amande," a luxurious snack bread made with a croissant dipped in syrup and topped with plenty of almond cream. Additionally, an original newspaper with the theme of "cafes and information" will also be distributed free of charge. In addition to covering the relationships and culture born from cafes, the book also includes interviews with cafe owners who stock the newspaper and the process by which the newspaper is made.

The lineup of exhibitors includes THE ROASTERS, TRUNK COFFEE, NAGOYA COFFEE ROASTERS, TAOCA COFFEE, REC COFFEE, Foret Coffee, Bal Musette, IFNi coffee, PORTERS PAINT, Motoe Coffee, and more.
