Van Cleef & Arpels is exhibiting a special window display in collaboration with contemporary artist Matsumiya Shoko at its Ginza flagship store (7-8-5 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) through September 1st. Matsumiya Shoko, born in 1981, is a young artist known for her glasswork. The theme of the display is "Something Newly Born." The delicate glass bubbles reflect the light streaming in from Ginza's main street, creating a fantastical world. Matsumiya Shoko skillfully manipulates glass to breathe new life into the world she creates, creating a pure and feminine world. Matsumiya's works combine mystique and powerful beauty, resembling unknown creatures. The interconnected transparent spheres evoke the vitality of creating "something new," and the shifting light over time enhances the elegance of wedding rings set with carefully selected stones.
In addition, a bridal fair will be held at Van Cleef & Arpels stores nationwide until August 23rd. During this period, the full bridal collection, which uses only diamonds selected according to strict standards, will be on display in boutiques. Customers who purchase a bridal ring will also receive an original gift.
