Celine debuted a collection of natural calfskin bags in its Pre-Fall 2015 collection. Among these, the "Sangle Natural Calfskin So" (W23 x H33 x D17cm, ¥280,000) is a new design that's garnering significant attention. Available in three colors: burgundy, khaki, and tan, each bag features an authentic, luxurious feel and a translucent appearance, untreated. Crafted from natural calfskin with virtually no grain, its refined texture is achieved by carefully removing small scratches and blemishes rather than concealing them with a coating, revealing the beauty of the perfect, pure material. Due to the carefully selected materials, production quantities are limited. The entire Natural Calfskin collection, including the "Sangle," is crafted in Celine's Tuscan atelier, where traditional techniques are cherished and preserved. Tanned exclusively with vegetable tannins by artisans, the leather achieves a soft, smooth feel. Unlike leather that has been extensively processed, with use it will gradually acquire a glossy sheen, become more supple and develop a lustre, turning it into a one-of-a-kind bag that reflects the warmth and personality of the user.
In addition to the "Sangle," the natural calfskin collection includes the new shoulder bag "Tag," as well as the popular "Luggage" and "Belt Bag," and is available in a variety of shapes.
