Silk scarf brand Melmi launches in Japan at Fred Segal Daikanyama store

Aug 16, 2015

Mermi., a silk scarf brand that produces entirely handmade scarves, will begin selling exclusive items at the Fred Segal Daikanyama store in mid-August. This select shop offers a relaxed West Coast American style combined with a modern, urban lifestyle.

Mermi.'s silk scarves are made in a factory in Lyon, France, known for producing scarves for Hermès. Sewn entirely by hand without the use of machines, the brand offers a wide range of scarves and stoles, from muted tones to bold color combinations. The 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection features motifs inspired by 1980s video games, vintage robots, and Space Invaders.

In Japan, Mermi. items will only be available at the Fred Segal Daikanyama store.
