Fine artist and painter Shohei Takasaki will host a one-night pop-up show at JUST ANOTHER SPACE in Nakameguro, Tokyo, on August 30th to celebrate the release of his latest collection, "DISAPPEARED INTO THE DARK." Since 2003, Shohei Takasaki has been active in the United States and Poland, holding solo shows in Poland, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Kuwait, the first Japanese artist to do so. In recent years, he has also commissioned pieces for Starbucks Coffee. His latest collection, "DISAPPEARED INTO THE DARK," features a selection of works he created since moving to the United States, as well as an interview. The event will feature a live painting session with his friend Shoji Ikenaga, leader of the thunderous dub band "Arakenai Reta Koibitotachi e," whose work includes artwork for his CD albums. New works will be on display and for sale, and a limited edition copy of his latest collection will be available. Additionally, SHOHEI TAKASAKI will be hand-signing copies for visitors who purchase the collection at the venue.
