The new Carven clog sandals feature a retro-pop floral pattern [Today's item]

Aug 18, 2015

Carven appointed Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud as its new artistic directors for the Winter 2015 collection. This season, inspired by the image of a "London girl living in Paris in the late 1960s," the key theme was pop floral motifs that played with color and pattern. Using various techniques, including prints and jacquards, the motifs appeared on numerous items, from clothing to accessories, adding vibrant color to the collection. One of these items, the "Flower Print Shoes" clog sandals (9.5cm heel, 105,000 yen), evokes a nostalgic vibe this year, like something you'd find in your grandmother's closet. The mix of '70s-style clogs and retro '60s patterns is a new look. The back straps and thick heels provide excellent stability, and the runway look featured ankle-length colorful socks.

In addition to blue, orange is also available. The release is scheduled for October or later.
