Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud have been appointed as the new artistic directors of Carven's women's collections. Their first show together will be presented on March 5th during Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2015-16. Alexis began his career in 2007, working as a ready-to-wear and couture knitwear designer at Givenchy. He then served as creative director at Iceberg. Adrien, meanwhile, gained experience at Marc Jacobs before moving to Givenchy, where he is in charge of the shoes and accessories line under artistic director Riccardo Tisci. "We wholeheartedly welcome Alexis and Adrien to Carven, and they will continue to represent fresh, Parisian elegance for the modern woman," said Carven CEO Henri Sebaoun. "Alexis and Adrien also said, 'Carven embodies a feminine aesthetic and freshness that will be carried into the next generation. We are truly excited to be working with Henri Sebaoun and Carven's incredibly creative and talented team."
