Transform yourself into a poster face with Katsuya Kamo's "Art Headpiece"! Special photo spot at Isetan Mitsukoshi

Aug 20, 2015

From August 26th to September 8th, Isetan Mitsukoshi will be holding a campaign called "Color Festival" at its group stores to introduce autumn fashion styles. During the campaign period, special photo spots will be set up in select stores where customers can take photos as if they are wearing the "art headpiece" created by hair and makeup artist Katsuya Kamo for the campaign's main visual (note that the end date of the photo event varies by store).

The theme of the campaign is "Digital x Fashion." The company aims to incorporate the latest technology into lifestyle fashion and convey a new lifestyle to customers. As part of this, selected stores will set up special photo spots where customers can take photos as if they are wearing the headpiece.

At these spots, customers first choose their favorite art headpiece frame from three types: "Tokyo Fashion Tribe," "Tokyo Culture Tribe," or "Tokyo Trend Tribe," and a dedicated store staff member will take the photo on an iPad. With the customer's prior consent, the photos taken will be automatically uploaded to the Mitsukoshi Isetan "Irodori Matsuri" special website, where they can be downloaded and saved by themselves.

A company planner commented, "Through this online photo event, we hope to raise awareness of the Irodori Matsuri and encourage more customers to visit our stores. We hope to continue to offer our customers the value of combining digital and fashion, and propose a new lifestyle."
