Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "must-read books" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Thursday, we'll introduce a recommended book from each branch of the art bookstore "NADiff." This time, we'll be looking at NADiff du Champ, which just opened in Tokyo's Ginza district on July 31st.
■ "Sony World Photography Awards 2015"
The Sony World Photography Awards, the world's largest photography competition, launched in 2007 and supported by Sony, is a 2015 catalog featuring the grand prize winners from approximately 170,000 submissions, the largest number ever. The works featured in this collection span a wide range of subjects and styles, from children in the slums of Argentina to the disappearing glaciers of Kenya to a Swedish father raising his children. Each piece captures the present moment from around the world, making this a book that offers the unique appeal of an open exhibition. The collection is currently on sale exclusively at NADiff du Champ, the new NADiff store that opened on the sixth floor of the Ginza Sony Building. The floor next to NADiff du Champ is home to the Sony Imaging Gallery Ginza, which expanded from one floor to two and reopened on July 31st. The first exhibition since the expansion is the "Sony World Photography Award 2015 Award-Winning Works Exhibition." The exhibition is scheduled to close today, the 20th, at 3:00 PM, but we hope you'll pick up this book, which symbolizes the opening of the new store.
