Tiffany & Co. will launch the new Tiffany Eternity Watch, a new addition to its cocktail watch lineup, in Japan on August 1st. This round watch is designed to symbolize Tiffany's heritage as the world's leading diamond authority.
The hours are marked by diamonds of 12 different shapes: round brilliant, baguette, cushion, true, marquise, asscher, heart, pear, oval, emerald, triangle, and princess. The dial, adorned with diamonds of these various cuts, is inspired by a series of Tiffany advertising images from the 1960s and 1970s. The diamond on the crown is inspired by a Tiffany® Setting engagement ring. Set with classic six prongs, the diamond is enhanced by a halo of diamonds surrounding the case. Tiffany artisans in Switzerland spend more than 13 hours crafting each watch, from assembling the case to hand-setting the diamonds.
