Takashi Homma returns to cinemas for the first time in 12 years! All four of his documentaries, including "After 10 Years," will be screened at once.

Oct 4, 2016

Photographer Takashi Homma will hold a special screening of his first new documentary film in 12 years at Shibuya Image Forum in late November 2016. This event will feature a theatrical re-editing of his video works, which he has been presenting as installations in museums and galleries for 14 years since 2002. This marks the first theatrical screening of his work since 2004's "A Very Good Weather." The screening will feature four films. The latest, "After 10 Years," is a documentary about the Heritance Ahungalla hotel, which suffered extensive damage in the Sumatra tsunami. It explores how memories of that time have changed and resurfaced in people's minds 10 years later. The visual design was created by Rikako Nagashima. The film is currently available in galleries and bookstores.
