Chitose Abe's sacai presents her Spring/Summer 2022 Men's and Pre-Spring 2022 Women's collections.

Spring/Summer 2022 Men's Collection
This season's ideas were born from practicality and the bonding processes that give technical clothing its functionality.

Significant sacai fabrics, such as paisley bandana print, buffalo check, and rag jacquard, are combined with water-repellent technical nylon for a new context this season.

Suit shapes are mixed with technical outdoor details, such as workwear pockets and waterproof tape. The silhouette of a long Chesterfield coat is transformed into a water-repellent coat dress, satin is mixed with ripstop nylon, and classic tweed cardigan jackets are integrated with water-repellent panels in a technical mix.

The ultimate expression that forms the basis of this idea is a collaboration with Errolson Hugh's fashion brand ACRONYM®, which combines ACRONYM®'s signature technical details with Sacai's fabrics and shapes in both men's and women's collections, including the first dresses for ACRONYM®

Regarding the collaboration, ACRONYM designer Hugh said, "I've known Chitose and, of course, sacai for many years, so this collaboration was an ideal fusion. And as you can see from the results, it embodies the philosophies of the two brands as one collection, making it a wonderful collaboration that is united rather than partial."

Also noteworthy is the wicker picnic basket filled with picnic accessories from Parisian ceramic manufacturer ASTIER de VILLATTE.
