The "Run & Roll" exhibition, celebrating the release of a collaboration model between artist Keiichi Tanaami and Wacoal's conditioning wear brand "CW-X," opened on January 17th at Spiral Garden (1st floor, Spiral) in Aoyama, Tokyo. It runs through the 22nd.

The venue was bathed in the vibrant colors of Tanaami's world. In the gallery zone, an original animation inspired by Kyoto, featuring torii gates and Buddhist statues, was played. In the atrium at the back, 30 torsos wearing four types of collaboration tights, including one release model, and the standard model, were suspended from the ceiling. Tanaami himself personally instructed the torsos' heights during setup.

This collaboration was realized as a campaign to support the Kyoto Marathon 2013, which will be held in March. Tanaami's artwork was printed on canvases made of CW-X's high-performance sports tights, "Stabilix." Available in sizes S to L for both men and women, limited to 600 pieces. It will go on sale from January 20th at select CW-X stores nationwide and the Wacoal web store. The price is 18,900 yen. Other items in the lineup include a T-shirt (6,300 yen) and a buff that can be used as a neck warmer or cap (3,675 yen).

The CW-X Conditioning Store next to the Spiral entrance is currently selling this collaborative series in advance. Tanaami's artwork will adorn the walls until March 10th.

Wacoal is actively collaborating with artists, and in 2011 its underwear brand "une nana cool" produced underwear designed by Yayoi Kusama, which generated a lot of buzz.
