"676869▲", a dual-activity label that produces CD jackets and apparel, will hold its first solo exhibition, "▲'s Room"

An exhibition by "676869▲ (also known as Sankakee)," a unit of three art directors who primarily design CD jackets and also create their own apparel, is currently being held at Gallery AL in Ebisu, Tokyo.

"▲'s Room" marks the first solo exhibition by the three artists, born in 1967, 1968, and 1969. They primarily work in the music industry and each develop their own apparel brand. "Seeds, fields, and crops are all the same." This time, the three artists will exhibit their works with different interpretations of the keywords "▲" and "room." On Saturday, the 26th, visitors will also be able to bring their own items and have them custom stenciled for free.

They have worked on CD jackets, music videos, book covers, and tour merchandise for artists such as SPITZ, Shiina Ringo, SUPERCAR, and Kimura Kaela, and also run the fashion brand "Kitsunetsuki." Yutaka Kimura (born 1967) of Central67, who in 2008 collaborated with Shiina Ringo to design T-shirts for Uniqlo under the name "White and Black."

Hikari Kawahara (born 1968) of TLGF, who has worked on CDs for artists such as Yuzu, Dragon Ash, Remioromen, pre-school, AIR, and The Flickers, as well as graphic design for the fashion brand "GDC," and has launched the independent brand "WRIGHT" since 2010.

Tsutomu Moriya (born 1969) is a versatile artist who has designed CD jackets for artists such as Kiyoshiro Imawano, Magokoro Brothers, YO-KING, Takashi Hamasaki, and ent, and launched the brand "ila." in 2000, known for its collaboration with Yumi Matsutoya, "YUMING x ila.", as well as the collaborative brand "NILA" with N_DRESS.
