Chanel's new lipstick, Rouge Allure Ink, has a liquid, matte finish

Oct 31, 2016

CHANEL has released a new lip makeup collection. The collection features new lip colors, "Rouge Allure Ink" (¥4,200 each), which propose a new style of lip makeup with a flattering matte finish. A combination of polymers, waxes, and vegetable oils glides effortlessly over lips, perfectly conforming to every curve. The watery liquid texture quickly blends into lips. The texture, which contains volatile oil-based ingredients, transforms into a matte finish for a frosted finish. The formula includes emollients and jojoba oil, as well as a complex of antioxidants such as sapphire extract, green tea extract, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E derivatives, protecting lips from environmental factors. Furthermore, the polymers, waxes, and oil-based ingredients form a fine net that firmly adheres the fine pigments to lips, maintaining vibrant color for approximately six hours after the first application. This time, the collection will feature eight shades born from a pursuit of a wide variety of reds, from classic reds to reds with bronze nuances.

Other new shades in the collection include "Rouge Allure," the passionate cherry red "#172 Rouge Le Belle" (4,200 yen), "#174 Rouge Angelique" (4,200 yen), a soft rosewood that creates a natural-looking lip, and "Rouge Allure Velvet," a vibrant coral pink, including "#60 Rouge Torblanc" (4,200 yen). The nail enamel "Vernis Long Tenue" also includes "#538 Gris Obscure" (3,200 yen), a deep gray with a green nuance.
