Newneu., a brand that offers customized bags and shoes, will open a directly managed store in Daikanyama, Tokyo (23-5 Sarugaku-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on October 29th. Facing the intersection at the entrance to Daikanyama Station, the store features a flexible structure inspired by Newneu.'s system for customizing personal items with art pieces, and a minimalist, simple design based on a white theme. The interior design was handled by designer Shinsuke Washizawa. Steel plates are placed on the walls, and fixtures with neodymium magnets are designed so that the fixtures can be moved around the wall, just like customizing art pieces. The store will also be selling limited-edition items (Mini Cluser Type 120,000 yen and Skate Board Type 150,000 yen) based on the skateboard-shaped clutch bag that was released in collaboration with Masayuki Ino's doublet, featuring hand-painted designs by illustrator Chocomoo, who collaborated on the art piece collection "BLACK NEW MODE." Other items available include a top (27,000 yen) that combines a simple silhouette with the NewNew system, and a canvas tote bag (9,000 yen) featuring a large "D" emblazoned on it.
