■ Comme des Garçons kicks off 2013 with Katsuhiro Otomo
I was surprised when I received this direct mail after the three-day weekend. What's most amazing is that the brand information is only a single double-page spread. The entire book is flooded with Otomo's illustrations. Akira is a manga with incredible detail. The content is even philosophical. The bike and Tetsuo are just so cool. It's a completely different story from the hit movie, so I recommend comparing them. I can't wait to collect all 40 volumes.

■Tokyo's leading fashion and art events will collaborate in March, and mastermind's final show will also be held
Events related to Tokyo Fashion Week this spring have been announced. We hope to liven up Tokyo fashion from a variety of genres. I'm looking forward to mastermind's final show.
■MUVEIL's kids' line is just as impressive as their adult clothes; this season it's called Marilyn Monroe
The kids' line is a collection that is just as cute yet dangerous as the main line. From February 8th, the film "Moonrise Kingdom," for which MUVEIL Work provides costumes, will be screened.
There has been heavy snowfall in Tokyo since the start of the week; how was everyone? For those taking entrance exams, please be sure to be in top condition for the National Center Test. We look forward to seeing you again next week!
