Carven opens new store on Paris' Right Bank

May 18, 2014

On May 14th, Carven opened a new store on Paris' Right Bank (north of the Seine). This is Carven's third women's store in Paris, located on Rue Malher in the 4th arrondissement. The store has a floor area of 95 square meters.

The interior design was handled by Eric Chevallier, who also designed the existing store. The space reflects the worldview of Carven's artistic director, Guillaume Henry. Racks hang from the ceiling, the floor is covered in sandstone mosaic, and the walls are covered in mirrors. The shelves are made of burgundy oak.

Eric also designed the store's furniture, manufactured by Domeau & Peres. The stools feature original, iconic prints from Carven's collections, and the stockman torso is made of translucent resin.
