"Fine Dine Discovery" is a popular event where participants can enjoy wines rarely found in Japan, along with the food and culture of the wine-producing country. The theme of the event is "enjoying and discussing unseen scenery, unseen wines, and unseen food in a travel-like atmosphere." Held irregularly, past events have featured Portugal, Bulgaria, Israel, Malta, Slovenia, and other countries. At the venue, participants can not only enjoy conversations with fellow wine-lovers, but also gather information useful for their trips. The second "Fine Dine Discovery" will be held on May 28th. This year's event will focus on Romania, a country blessed with numerous World Heritage Sites and beautiful natural scenery. Currently the 12th largest wine producer in the world, Romanian wine is known as a "connoisseur's wine," impressing wine lovers. The event will also feature Romanian cuisine, which has developed a unique character while being influenced by the ancient Roman Empire, Ottoman Turkey, and neighboring countries. The venue is the cinema dining restaurant "Copon norp" in Harajuku, Tokyo. The event is scheduled to start at 7:20pm and finish at 10pm. The price is 9,300 yen (tax included). Reservations are required on the Fine Dine Discovery official website.
