Model Angela Martini was born on May 23, 1986, in Shikodar, Albania.
At the age of seven, she won a local beauty contest. She moved to Switzerland at age 10 and was frequently scouted as a model, but it wasn't until she finished school at age 18 that she decided to pursue a professional modeling career.
In 2010, at the urging of photographer Fadil Berisha, she entered the Miss Universe pageant and successfully represented Albania. She ultimately finished in the top 10, placing sixth. In 2010 and 2011, she was named one of the 200 most important people by the Swiss magazine "Who is Who in Zurich."
In 2012, she entered the business world, founding Martini and creating her own line of bikinis, Martini Bikinis.
