Compartes Chocolatier, a long-established luxury chocolate maker, has released limited-edition products for the summer of 2014. They will be available at all Compartes stores.

The summer-only lineup includes three types: "Pudding," "Pound Cake (Mango)," and "Citron." The two types of puddings—"Chocolate Pudding," featuring the rich flavor of cacao, and "Mango Pudding," made with the king of mangoes, "Alfonso Mango"—are priced at 460 yen each. A gift set of six (3,000 yen) will also be available from May 30th. The "Pound Cake (Mango)" (1,500 yen), filled with plenty of chopped mango stewed in passion fruit puree, has a refreshing summer aroma. "Citron," made with citron cake preserved in syrup and dipped in bitter chocolate, is a limited-time item making a comeback after a two-year hiatus, priced at 350 yen per cake. Available from June 7th.

Since its founding in 1950, Compartes Chocolatier is a long-established chocolate shop that has been loved by iconic figures of the era, including Frank Sinatra, Winton Churchill, and Marilyn Monroe. Since 2003, chocolate artist Jonathan Grahm has been the owner, developing new recipes one after another using his unique imagination. Today, the shop is also frequented by Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Harrison Ford, and David Beckham.
