Laziz Hamani © CartierThe Tank Must is the latest evolution of the timeless and iconic Tank watch, more than 100 years after its creation. It combines two legendary watches from the Maison: the Tank and the Must. The Tank is an essential, dandy watch, while the Must reinterprets the luxury design codes of a watch first created by Cartier in the 1970s. Directly inspired by the Tank Louis Cartier, the Tank Must collection returns to the Maison's traditions down to the smallest details, such as the refined pearl cabochon crown and the return of the traditional Ardillon buckle on leather strap models.
The sophistication of the Maison's watchmaking is evident in every element. The design has been completely revamped, from the steel bracelet to the links, and the watch is equipped with the latest, highly efficient quartz movement (with a battery life of approximately eight years).
In addition to these six models, the Tank Must lineup also includes a monochrome model in red, blue, and green, as well as a model equipped with Cartier's first solar-powered movement and featuring a strap made from non-animal materials. These models are scheduled for release in September 2021.

[About the Tank]
The Tank watch, with its pure, streamlined lines and uncompromising silhouette, embodies Cartier's elegance. When the Tank, with its signature two parallel vertical bars, was created in 1917, its design was already avant-garde. Inspired by the aerial view of a tank, it is defined by clear graphics, with the vertical bars representing tracks and the case representing the cockpit.
Currently, there are seven collections: Tank Louis Cartier, Tank Américaine, Tank Française, Tank MC, Tank Cintrée, Tank Asymmetrice, and Tank Must.
