"mastermind JAPAN" and "A BATHING APE(R)" have supported the Japanese fashion scene since the '90s and have fans all over the world. Their latest addition is "Dr. MARTENS," a brand that was founded in the UK in the 1960s and has deep ties to music and culture, captivating many fans with its high-quality leather and comfortable fit.
The identities of the three brands, along with the brand creative of "BAPE(R)" and "mastermind JAPAN," have been projected onto and reconstructed into Dr. Martens' iconic 1461 3-eye shoe.
One side of the right and left shoes features BAPE(R)'s "Shark" and the other side features mastermind JAPAN's "Skull & Crossbones." While retaining details such as the heel loop and welt stitching that are part of Dr. Martens' DNA, the shoes feature smooth leather uppers, triple-branded dog tags, antique black "A BATHING APE(R)" and "mastermind JAPAN" branded lace charms, and insoles engraved with the triple collaboration.
This collection will be available on the BAPE.COM WEB STORE from June 26, 2021.
