Christian Louboutin's Fall/Winter 2016 collection is inspired by the Parisian nightclubs that Louboutin himself used to frequent.

Christian Louboutin will release his Fall/Winter 2016 collection, "Oh! You Pretty Things." The collection evokes the glam rock vibe of the legendary Parisian nightclub, Le Palace, which Christian Louboutin frequented in his youth. Inspired by the free-spirited style of his party-loving friends, who weren't afraid to rock bold and flashy styles, and powerful statements like super-high platform shoes and heavily mascaraed lashes, the collection features a kaleidoscopic color palette and ultra-luxurious materials. The elegant ankle-strap platform shoes, "Louloudance" (165,000 yen), are crafted in rich suede and pops of purple with water snake or gold piping. The Mary Jane-style "Top Street" shoes eschew their schoolgirl image with a sporty, thick welt sole and multicolored python. The "Top street Glitter Disco Ball" (94,000 yen) features black eyeliner-like piping and glitter, making it a perfect pump for a party.

The suede knee-high boots "Louloubotta" (210,000 yen) also feature gold piping as an accent, as well as bold color blocking of this season's key colors. "Olyaboota" (268,000 yen) is made up of patchwork from this season's color palette and multicolored mink. Other styles available include "Wavy" (178,000 yen) and "Mercura" (175,000 yen), which are inspired by nightclub goddesses and ancient Greek goddesses, respectively.
