New York-based designer Zac Posen has teamed up with American bridal brand David's Bridal to launch the bridal line Truly Zac Posen.

Posen is known for his feminine and elegant dresses, and in 2010 he designed the wedding dress for top model Coco Rocha. David's Bridal, meanwhile, has already launched a successful collection for Vera Wang, a designer particularly popular for bridal dresses.

This time, Posen has designed wedding dresses and formal dresses, priced in the affordable range of $850 to $1,350 (approximately ¥80,000 to ¥130,000). A wide range of sizes is also available. Posen commented, "For many women, their wedding is the only time they walk the red carpet. It's one of the few opportunities they have to wear a romantic, nostalgic gown," and it appears that she sees this as an opportunity to offer her own dresses to a wide range of women.

The collection will be available in David's Bridal stores from February 2014.
