A suit designed as a tribute to Italian soccer legend Enzo Bearzot has been unveiled for the first time.

The UEFA European Championship, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held from June 11th to July 11th. To commemorate this, designer Giorgio Armani has designed the official suit for the Italian national team.
The suit is for EMPORIO ARMANI. It was created as a tribute to Italian soccer legend Enzo Bearzot. Enzo contributed to Italian soccer as a player and later as a soccer coach. He is also known as the manager when Italy won the World Cup in 1982.

The jacket features a mandarin collar in a pale combination of light blue and white, and is made of lightweight cotton seersucker. The pants are a simple black color. They are extremely soft and comfortable to wear. This relaxed suiting style is inspired by the elegant presence Enzo displayed throughout his life. This time, we've combined that elegance with classic Italian style and Armani's signature clean lines and details to create a truly special suit.

Giorgio Armani said: "I am proud to have been able to design the official suits for the Italian national team for such an important championship. My priorities in designing this suit were sportiness, authenticity, and elegance. I feel that the lightweight yet dignified suits have something in common with the spirit we should live in today."

Additionally, Italian Football Federation President Gabriele Gravina commented, "I am truly grateful to Mr. Armani for creating suits that perfectly express the characteristics of this young, elegant, and determined national team. His style is a perfect match for the direction that Coach Mancini has set for the Azzurri (Italian national team)."

Giorgio Armani's ties to the world of sport are extensive. He has designed uniforms for the Italian national team at international tournaments and in partnership with international clubs. A huge basketball fan, Armani has owned the professional basketball team Olimpia Milano since 2008, which has enjoyed great success in Serie A.
