132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE presents the structure of its new collection "SQUARE WOOL" through a display

Oct 9, 2015

132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE is exhibiting a display at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE / GINZA, SEMBA until October 30th that allows viewers to experience the world of their new collection, "SQUARE WOOL."

"SQUARE WOOL" is a collection based on the theme of "TETRAGON," focusing on square shapes and exploring form. Colorfully yarn-dyed, thick-count acrylic wool is woven into a square grid of jacquard fabric, which is cut into square panels and sewn together to create the structure of clothing.

The lineup of five items includes a blouse, skirt, pants, jacket, and coat. They are available in three colors: black, pink, and yellow. Men's blousons made from the same material are also available in black and blue.

The display at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE / GINZA and SEMBA features a structure created by enlarging the pattern used in "SQUARE WOOL" by 2.5 times.
