
A Yohji Yamamoto Homme pop-up shop is open until October 20th in the promotional space on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Store Men's Building.
The pop-up shop focuses on the 1991-92 AW collection, which was presented in Paris in 1991, the year the Gulf War broke out. Musicians who appeared on the runway as models sang anti-war songs at the finale, making this a legendary collection, and items from this collection will be on display as "YOHJI YAMAMOTO REPRICA." Details of military wear, which have often been a focus of Yohji Yamamoto's work, bring a new look to the suit look. The lineup of items includes a single-breasted long trench coat (162,000 yen) featuring a hood and large rain flap, a mod coat (142,000 yen) with a leather collar and toggles, a wide-brim hat (48,000 yen), and a high-crown hat (60,000 yen).
