This fall, Moncler held an art event at the New York Public Library. The event featured a photo exhibition featuring 32 top photographers from around the world, each offering their own interpretation of Moncler's iconic "MAYA" jacket. Curated by world-renowned art director and photographer Fabien Baron, the exhibition featured photographers from around the world who shared the event's vision, including Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Bruce Weber, Terry Richardson, David Sims, and many others. Each photographer portrayed their own unique worldview and atmosphere through the sole unifying theme of the Moncler down jacket. Some expressed the love and emotional connection that inspired the event's name, while others ranged from dreamy to pop. Some elicited laughter with their humor, while others invited viewers on a rugged adventure or a delicate and beautiful journey.
This event, ART FOR LOVE, was planned to support amfAR, an organization whose goal is to find a cure for AIDS by 2020. All works will be sold through a silent auction held at the venue and the online contemporary auction Paddle8 (https://paddle8.com/), with all proceeds being donated to amfAR.
