The gourmet event "Ginza Gai Bar 2015" will be held in Tokyo's Ginza area from November 16th to 19th. Known as a "town for grown-ups," Ginza has seen a shift in its clientele in recent years due to an increase in foreign tourists and ongoing redevelopment. In response to these changing times, "Ginza Gai Bar" launched last April with the aim of introducing the charms of Ginza to people unfamiliar with the area. The second event, held over seven days, attracted 2,000 participants. The third event, limited to 300 people, will feature a four-day exclusive bar hopping experience featuring special bar menus from 25 carefully selected restaurants in the Ginza area. Participating restaurants include AURUM, located on the top floor of the Swarovski Ginza flagship store in Ginza 8-chome; Bar Western Liquor Museum, featuring over 3,000 varieties of Western liquor; and Siesta, a long-established restaurant celebrating its 41st anniversary this year. Approximately 25 restaurants will be participating, ranging from famous Ginza establishments to newly opened establishments.
To participate, simply purchase a set of three tickets (3,500 yen including tax) on the official website. Each ticket will allow you to enjoy one dish and one drink from each of the three participating restaurants. Tickets can be downloaded from the "Ginza Gai Bar" app, which is scheduled to launch on November 2nd. Registration for the app is free, and during the event, information about participating restaurants will be distributed. After the event ends, information on special deals available in Ginza will be provided.
