Inspired by the Frecce Tricolori, a 1983 Breitling aerobatic team created for the Italian Air Force, the Super Chronomat is a powerful, all-around sports watch, yet elegant enough for evening wear.

Like the original Chronomat, rider tabs protect the sapphire crystal. The rider tabs at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock are interchangeable, allowing the watch to be used for counting up as well as down. The Super Chronomat collection, with its 44 mm case, boasts the boldest design of its kind. Key features include a stainless-steel bezel with a ceramic insert, a first for a Chronomat. It's available with the iconic Rouleaux bracelet with a butterfly clasp or a rubber strap inspired by the Rouleaux bracelet. The new rubber strap is crafted using cutting-edge injection molding technology. Its three different textures—matt, slick, and woven—create exceptional depth.
Three Color Variations
The Super Chronomat B01 44 is available in three versions. Two models are crafted in stainless steel with either a blue or black dial and bezel. The COSC-certified Breitling 01 Caliber (manufactured in-house) offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. This Super Chronomat is water resistant to 200 meters.
For even more exclusivity, there is also a black dial version with a UTC module integrated into a Rouleaux bracelet. UTC stands for Universal Time Coordinated, a unique Breitling feature since the 1980s that allows users to keep track of a second time zone.

As its name suggests, the Super Chronomat 44 Four Year Calendar features a semi-perpetual calendar mechanism that needs to be corrected only once in a leap year, that is, every 1,461 days. This model is available in two versions: one with a black dial with tone-on-tone chronograph counters and a stainless steel bezel with black ceramic inserts and 18K red gold elements, and the other with a blue dial with tone-on-tone chronograph counters and an 18K red gold bezel with blue ceramic inserts.
