Oct 7, 2015

KENZO will be hosting a pop-up shop for its 2015-16 Fall/Winter collection from October 7th to 13th at the Re-Style section on the 3rd floor of Isetan Shinjuku and the Global Message Space on the 4th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi. The collection evokes the spirit of camaraderie and the mutual protection of forest creatures. Motifs include warm drapes, voluminous silhouettes, graphic rays of light, and night-blooming flowers. Inside the pop-up shop, the world of the 2015-16 Fall/Winter collection is fused with the world of "HERE NOW," a short film by American underground film director Gregg Araki. The collision of KENZO's free-spirited spirit and Gregg Araki's kaleidoscopic, psychedelic worldview allows visitors to experience the collection from a different perspective than on the runway. A photo booth featuring "HERE NOW" visuals will also be set up at the venue. Additionally, if you show a screenshot of a post you have made on social media with the hashtags "#KENZOISETAN," "#KENZOMITSUKOSHI," or "#KENZOFW15" to store staff, you will receive a free bracelet featuring this season's motif.
