Starting in early summer 2021, musician Ryuichi Kawamura will be releasing two Swiss watch brands (Czapek and Ophion) and a watch roll (Bosphorus Leather) for carrying his watches, all of which embody the music that is his life.
Chrono Theory recently announced the "Verse o'Clock Series," a collection of watches and related merchandise produced by musician Ryuichi Kawamura, at the Universal Watch Fair 2021, held at The Stage on the first floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi. A talk event was held with Ryuichi Kawamura and Joe Yokomizo, which also served as a product press release. Two Swiss watch brands (Czapek and Ophion) and a watch carrier (Bosphorus Leather) that embody the music that is Ryuichi Kawamura's life will be released in early summer 2021.
Customers who purchase a watch or watch roll will receive a free MP3 file of a music box version of "Verse o'Clock," a song written specifically for this series.
Additionally, one person who pre-orders will be randomly selected to receive a "Verse o'Clock" music box.
Pre-orders are scheduled to begin in June 2021.
A Watch Enthusiast's Commitment
Ryuichi Kawamura has poured his passion as a watch enthusiast into this series, sublimating the product and song where time and music intersect into "Verse o'Clock."
"Verse" refers to the so-called A-melody + B-melody section leading up to the chorus, or the lyric section. On the other hand, while "o'clock" is an expression that refers to the time of day, it originally meant "of clock" or "of the clock" to mean which time it was referring to.
"Verse o'clock" can be combined in any of four ways, as shown below, and shows the thoughts that Kawamura Ryuichi puts into his products.
