From July 18th to December 25th, teamLab will be holding "Enosui x teamLab Night Wonder Aquarium 2015" at the Enoshima Aquarium in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
This event, which will illuminate the nighttime atmosphere of the Enoshima Aquarium (also known as "Enosui") with digital art of light and sound, will feature a variety of teamLab works, including the new "Flowers and Fish - Sagami Bay Large Aquarium."
"Flowers and Fish - Sagami Bay Large Aquarium" will project a fantastical image onto the surrounding area, centered around the Sagami Bay Large Aquarium, making it appear as if flowers are blooming all over the aquarium. The flowers around the tank will move interactively in response to the fish's movements, such as scattering all at once when they pass nearby.
Also, "Resonating Spheres and Night Fish," a collection of luminous spheres installed along the walkway, change color when people tap them or bump into something. When one sphere changes color, the surrounding spheres change color in succession. Similarly, "Resonating Small Seas" is installed, in which the color of the aquarium changes in tandem. When people approach the glass of the aquarium, the color of the light changes and a tone specific to that color resonates.
Also on display is the "Drawing Aquarium," an aquarium where visitors can draw fish. When visitors draw fish on paper, the fish they create swim in the giant aquarium right in front of them, along with those drawn by others. They can also touch the fish they draw, which causes them to swim away all at once. They can also feed the fish by touching the food bags.
