Lancôme's 80th anniversary celebration took place at the Casino de Paris in France on July 7th (local time). Over 1,200 guests from around the world gathered for the event. The venue was decorated with gorgeous decorations, including an arch made of fresh roses, to evoke the brand's slogan, "Life is Beautiful with Lancôme." Guests included Julia Roberts, Penélope Cruz, Kate Winslet, Lupita Nyong'o, Lily Collins, Alma Jodorowsky, and Daria Werboy, as well as Parisian muse Caroline de Maigret and Lancôme's new Creative Director of Makeup Lisa Eldridge. The event was hosted by actress Isabella Rossellini, who served as Lancôme's muse for 14 years. Referring to her daughter Elettra Rossellini also serving as a muse for the brand, she said, "For me, Lancôme is not just a brand for which I have served as a campaign muse; it is a brand that I have continued to identify with throughout my life." She added, "Lancôme's mission of 'making all women beautiful' has led women to happiness across the ages." The party climaxed with a private live dance number by performer Kylie Minogue. In reference to the party's theme of "WOW," she sang her signature song "WOW" with the guests.
