Disney/Pixar's latest film, "Inside Out" (released July 18th), has collaborated with fashion news site "FASHION HEADLINE" and women's movie site "cinemacafe.net" to create a clutch bag. The bag was completed the day before the film's release.
The film is set inside a young girl's mind. Its innovative setting, in which characters represent the girl's emotions—"Joy" makes her feel happy, "Sadness" appears when she's sad, "Anger" causes her to explode with anger, "Disgust" rejects things she dislikes, and "Fear" protects her safety—has garnered attention. Additionally, actresses Yuko Takeuchi (Joy) and Shinobu Otake (Sadness) provide the voices for the Japanese dubbed version, and the theme song is "DREAMS COME TRUE."
The collaboratively produced bag features hand-drawn illustrations of Joy and Sadness. Additionally, each character's signature lines, such as "It's a great day!" and "I don't think this happy thing is going to work," are printed on the bag, allowing you to express your mood at the time depending on how you fold it.
The fabric used is denim, a trendy material that has been popular since last year. It is durable yet soft, and will be useful as a bag-in-bag for summer vacation trips. The basic navy blue color makes it the perfect item for a casual style.
"Inside Out" will be released nationwide on July 18th.
