Starbucks collaborates with Hiroshi Fujiwara and others to release octagonal mugs and other items

Jul 22, 2015

On July 29th, Starbucks Coffee Japan will release a collaboration item with the design project "Fragment Design" and the design production company "mo'design."
Fragment Design is a design project led by music producer and designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, who has collaborated with Starbucks on various projects, including the reopening of the Starbucks Coffee Omotesando B-SIDE store, in-store live performances, and merchandise design. For this collaboration, they have produced an original octagonal mug, the "Octagonal Mug" (1,900 yen), available in two colors: black and white. The glossy surface features the Fragment Design and Starbucks logos subtly on both the front and back.
In addition, Starbucks has collaborated with the design production company "mo'design," led by art director Motoki Mizoguchi, to produce Starbucks' classic handy stainless steel bottle (4,900 yen) and a mini Starbucks card. Both have a stylish camouflage pattern.

They will be available at Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some stores) and the official online store.
