Chanel releases first campaign visual featuring Johnny Depp's daughter

Jul 20, 2015

The campaign visuals for CHANEL's "Pearl Eyewear Collection," featuring actress Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of Johnny Depp and new ambassador for the brand, have been released. This marks Lily's first appearance as the face of Chanel, and she portrays a sweet and feminine woman. Lily's mother, actress Vanessa Paradis, also appeared in the fragrance "COCO" campaign in the 1990s. She continues to shine as a Chanel ambassador, and this year she also appears in the "Girl CHANEL" bag campaign. The mother and daughter attended the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter Haute Couture show held in Paris on July 7th. The visuals, shot in April at Karl Lagerfeld's studio, showcase Lily's romantic figure against a light, sky-blue backdrop. Suddenly, her gaze changes from dreamy to innocent, and with her hair messily styled and a feather-trimmed knit cap, she coquettishly shows off the new eyewear collection, which features pearls as the main focus.

Pearls, one of Gabrielle Chanel's favorite elements, are the key to this collection. The frames, decorated with large, plump pearls, mother-of-pearl, or lavishly paved with tiny pearls, come in three types: curved butterfly shape, cat's eye, and square shape. The collection is scheduled to be released in November.
