Franck Muller has announced the Vanguard Mariner, setting sail on a new voyage. The Mariner, which first appeared in 2012 as the Tonneau Curvex Mariner, expressed the original and elegant marine style that is characteristic of Franck Muller. This concept has now been introduced to the Vanguard, and as an evolution of the Vanguard Yachting, which was released in 2015, it now features a more sophisticated design and a refreshing blue jeans color. While retaining the distinctive Vanguard design, such as the streamlined slits on the case sides and the linear, three-dimensional index numerals, the azimuth angle marked on the dial's back cover has been moved to a center circle, and the classic compass rose motif used in the Vanguard Yachting has been redesigned to resemble a contemporary nautical compass face. Furthermore, the 3 and 9 index numerals have been replaced with graphical English letters indicating East and West, further enhancing the watch's dynamic presence. The pale blue, reminiscent of blue jeans, further accentuates the yearning for ocean voyages. This is the signature color of the "Mariner," and its rarity, unique even among Franck Muller's extensive color palette, is not to be missed. Matching the simple white marine color scheme, the side slit, which also serves as the crown guard, is neatly finished in the same color as the case.

The denim coloring, which is a current fashion trend, combined with a sporty marine feel is reminiscent of the elegant Cruise Collection. Furthermore, denim has the characteristic of changing over time with continued use, acquiring a unique texture. The blue jeans color used symbolizes this beauty refined by the passage of time, vividly showcasing the Vanguard Mariner, which will mark the passage of time together.
