The beautiful appearance of the dial is the result of Franck Muller's skills, achieved through its continued pursuit of aesthetic excellence, and its strict quality control. The meticulous enamel painting process requires more steps than typical watchmaking. Dark colors are particularly challenging. The color is applied using special dyes, which not only change over time, but also make scratches very visible when the transparent enamel is applied over 20 times and then polished. Franck Muller dials, completed through meticulous work by skilled artisans, capture light with exquisite precision, boasting a vibrant, lustrous appearance that draws you in. The hour markers are "applied indexes," made from parts cut out in the shape of numerals and applied to the dial. The three-dimensional sparkle of gold adds an elegant glow to the enamel dial.
